DESCRIPTION :

Pembrolizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that blocks the interaction between PD-1 and its ligands, PD-L1 and PD-L2. Pembrolizumab is an IgG4 kappa immunoglobulin with an approximate molecular weight of 149 kDa. Pembrolizumab is produced in recombinant Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells.
KEYTRUDA for injection is a sterile, preservative-free, white to off-white lyophilized powder in single-dose vials. Each vial is reconstituted and diluted for intravenous infusion. Each 2 mL of reconstituted solution contains 50 mg of pembrolizumab and is formulated in L-histidine (3.1 mg), polysorbate 80 (0.4 mg), and sucrose (140 mg). May contain hydrochloric acid/sodium hydroxide to adjust pH to 5.5.

How should I use this medicine :

KEYTRUDA 100 MG-4 ML tablet is for infusion into a vein. It is given by a healthcare professional in a hospital or clinic setting.
A special MedGuide will be given to you before each treatment. Be sure to read this information carefully each ad every time.
Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this pills in children. While this pill may be prescribed for selected conditions, precautions do apply.

Dosage :

If you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, tell your doctors. KEYTRUDA can harm your unborn baby. If you are able to become pregnant, your doctor will give you a pregnancy test before you start treatment. Use effective birth control during treatment and for at least 4 months after the final dose of KEYTRUDA. Tell your doctor right away if you think you may be pregnant or you become pregnant during treatment with KEYTRUDA.
If you are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed, tell your doctors. It is not known if KEYTRUDA passes into your breast milk. Do not breastfeed during treatment with KEYTRUDA and for 4 months after your final dose of KEYTRUDA.

rash,
loss of skin pigmentation (vitiligo),
decreased appetite,

Storage :

The product does not contain a preservative.
Store the diluted solution from the KEYTRUDA 100 mg/4 mL vial either:
At room temperature for no more than 6 hours from the time of dilution. This includes   room temperature storage of the infusion solution in the IV bag, and the duration of infusion.
